And I like it a lot. Pitchfork says nice things, Gorilla vs. Bear has been hyping him for like a year, and the needle drop is already over him. I  say - these sounds are so good, and I love the way they are put together, and I love the way that the instruments sound so good and he sings so good over the top of them.

I feel like I was the last person to find out to find out that this record was released. I saw their first video for the movie soundtrack BUT I didn't even know this thing had a release date yet. Still, it is here, and it came out a full week ago. Check out this video for "Young, Wild and Free," then find the whole, glorious album, Mac and Devin Go to High School. It's just great seeing two rap stars distill a profound love and respect for Cheech and Chong into musical form. They sound like they're having a great time, and it's a blast to listen to (even if it might seem so carefree that it's inconsequential). There's a Curren$y feature on there too, so you can't really go wrong.

Clams Casino Remix Washed Out

If you downloaded that (fucking awesome) mixtape by A$AP Rocky I posted about a couple of weeks ago, then you are already a fan of Clams Casino. What more is there to say? Grayson Currin, the author of this eh-he-sure-is-great-but-I-just-can't-resist-criticizing-it review, would likely disagree with my decision to ignore his poetic deconstruction of the album along with his carefully calculated score. However, I urge you to follow  my example and just enjoy the first sentence - not to mention the music.
