Veritable Cornucopia

Bristling with images:
Prototype blueprints,
Grappling hooks, stopwatches,
Calendars and paranoia.

Bridges to nowhere can only take you so far,
But it's time, not distance, that matters most
When you're just sitting over coffee, hung over with a cold.

I don't want to go anywhere.
So, I just lean over the railing and stare
At water under the bridge.
