The Weeknd is one of the most surprisingly successful musical acts to come up in the last couple of years. That's not to say that Abel Tesfaye is anything less than brilliant. I just would not have predicted that his woozy, drug saturated tunes would connect with such a huge audience. Of course, he was already rising before Drake became his biggest fan. Now, it's just a question of how huge The Weeknd will get. Anyway, enough talk. Here is the new video for The Knowing. It's a wonderful science fiction short film of sorts that fits perfectly with The Weeknd's blissed out melancholy.
