My personal favorite, of the tracks on the Weeknd's latest mixtape Echoes of Silence, was Initiation. It's slithering beat and distorted vocals just delighted me, even as the lyrics made me shudder. So, without further ado, here's a free record by a guy who worked as a producer on that track. He goes by the name DropxLife, and he's a member of the XO crew. Expect his shadowy profile to continue growing in the future, and spend a little time in the dark with his music. You won't be disappointed.
