Lana Del Rey - Video Games live at Corinthia Hotel London

Seems like just yesterday ago I was saying how great Lana Del Rey is - oh wait! I said that earlier tonight. Anyway, if you're looking for a small dose of her seductive vocal prowess before that record drops at the end of the month, here's a live version of Video Games  that she performed at Corinthia Hotel London. It sounds great, just like everything else she's done. I've read adjectives like "stripped down" used in describing it, but honestly it isn't markedly different than the original mix of this song. Really, it's just a new video and a slightly different rendition of the song. The real value is being reminded, one more time, of just how exciting Lana Del Rey has become in the blogosphere. It's an opportunity to embrace her music before it all pays off on record release day. Get on board. You'll be glad when you're riding the wave of buzz on January 31.

Lana Del Rey unveils her album tracklist

Here it is! As you probably know, the album is called Born to Die and it will be in US stores on January 31. Check out the tracklist below, and hit me up if you don't have half these tracks already. I'll email them to you or something. Also, if you haven't watched it enough times already (I haven't), see the video for Born to Die below. It's shaping up to be quite a year for Lana Del Rey - she just signed a modeling contract, she has an album dropping, she's released four excellent music videos already. I hear rumors about people disliking her because she's pretending to be an indie princess when she's got connections to the mainstream recording industry. To that, I say, "Watch this music video!" Also, I say, "What was that? I can't hear you over how awesome this sounds." And then I say, "Neither can the 10 million people who have watched this video in the last three weeks. Because they're listening to it really loud."

Oh, you heard the new Jay-Z track? How about a free download?

Step right up and grab a free download of the new Jay-Z track "Glory," which features his newly born baby girl Blue Ivy Carter, at least that's what I think B.I.C. stands for. Anyway, check it out. It's streaming, right below, and you have the option of downloading it for free if choose to do so.

Jay-Z - Glory ft. B.I.C.

Note: I'm sure that I sound like a broken record saying this, but I'll repeat it again anyway. To download the MP3 file, right click and select "save link as." You'll see that you're downloading an MP3 file, and if you open it up you'll discover it is a 256kbps copy of the new Jay-Z track "Glory."
