Thoughts from an earlier version of myself

Chaos and nonsense.
Order and oppression
All these thoughts
Making hamburger from my brain.

Almost

Frank,

I don't know how to tell you. I'm so wrapped up. I wish I wasn't but its true. I'd be surprised if I change my mind any time soon. Maybe I'm just surprised, but there's more to it I swear. I worked so hard, and now I get the break I needed right when I needed it. It's a surprise. A much needed Tuesday smack in the face - there's more in orbit than you, man. There's an entire universe in orbit. Fuck if we should let it fly without us. Us. Us.

Best,
Jerry

Who spilled Kool-Aid on my script?

Kesey talks a lot about pulling people into your movie. Getting pulled into someone elses movie. The movie.

That's a strange way of looking at life. Reminds me of a theory I read about film.

I said that our minds interpret movies the same way they interpret dreams.

Now, bear with me, and suppose both of these theories are true. What are the implications?

[Cosmic. The implications are cosmic.]

Borax Headlights

Today, Charlie Sheen asked us to stop thinking about him and start thinking about Egypt. Never forget the power of passive action. Your page views can change the world.

Now, repeat this mantra with me:

1. Public relations are public service.
2. Education will make you clever.
3. Breaking news fixes problems.

Now, mindfully and with an open heart:

4. Fast food raises obesity awareness.

After Breakfast

Fish lips squeeze bacon grease from a kitchen sponge,
Massaging a dribble here, a dribble there, until at last
Every drop has been wrung free, and the table is cleared.
